I have been following the issue regarding the alleged publication of a photo of Mrs. Holly Briley’s driver license.
I am extremely concerned about this situation. All of you know how I feel about Holly, her antics and that of the people around her. That aside, I do not, I will not and I cannot support the publication of this identification instrument.
From the state of Ohio:
Q15: Who will have access to the information that the Ohio BMV will collect?
A15: As they do now, only authorized officials at BMV will have access to records. Ohio has a
comprehensive security plan for safeguarding information collected, stored, or disseminated
for purposes of complying with the REAL ID Act.
The possession of a driver’s license by an unauthorized person opens the door to identity theft and other harm to the person legally assigned to it. It is also against the law. I stated my viewpoint on this incident in Holly’s blog.
Just to let all of you here know, THE RELEASE OF A DRIVERS LICENSE NUMBER IS AGAINST THE LAW. IT IS NOT PUBLIC INFORMATION. Most states consider a dl the same as a social security number as it is the primary instrument used for identification.
If someone is using their employer, even if it is a DMV office, they are breaking the laws regarding keeping such matters confidential. No matter who it is that has had this information published, I will not endorse or tolerate it. At some point people need to grow up and put a stop to this nonsense before some serious harm is done.”
I would kindly ask that both my friends and haters put a stop to trying to get PRIVATE information on each other and pass this information. I have PERSONALLY suffered the effects of this practice and can attest to the harm that can be done to a victim of this sort of thing. It has to stop and stop now.
UPDATE: SINCE I HAVE WRITTEN THIS BLOG IT NOW SEEMS THAT HOLLY’S CLAIM THAT THE DL CHECK WAS DONE, IS IN FACT, A HOAX..
HOLLY FIRST CLAIMED THAT THE DL INFORMATION GOT OUT BECAUSE OF UCOZ. SHE CLAIMED THAT SOMEONE WHO WORKS WITH THE OHIO DMV OR SOMEONE WITH ACCESS TO THE DMV DID THE CHECK,
HER STORY HAS NOW CHANGE TO HER ACCUSING ME OF RUNNING THE DL CHECK. THIS WOULD BE A NEAT TRICK SINCE I DO NOT LIVE IN OHIO AND I AM NO LONGER A CAR DEALER AND THUS NOT CAPABLE OF DOING ANY KIND OF TAG OR DL CHECK

I agree with you, Murt. Posting such a document was uncalled for, however, are you sure she didn’t post it herself? I don’t know how anyone would have access to this info.
I have a difficult time believing that anyone would willingly post their own drivers license on the internet, under any blog or website. As Murt advised, this is an open opportunity for identity fraud. Now, who or whomever is responsible for obtaining this private information, is clearly in the wrong, and I agree it is time that these activities of searching out peoples private information and posting them for clearly their own entertainment. To take a copy of an Ohio drivers license and alter it to try to prove a persons existence would also be an illegal act. Who or whomever is responsible, is without doubt in serious trouble and in the end will pay the price for their own actions. As these games have played out it is becoming more apparent that someone has a serious mental illness, and one would think they are dealing not just a few cards short of a deck, but many cards short of a deck. If you have a photocopy of this drivers license Murt, will you tell me where it is so I can obtain a copy and I will be contacting the State of Ohio license Bureau thereby allowing them to determine what action needs to be taken. Its time to put this puppy to rest.
How can one obtain this information on their own? I see no way of doing this unless someone is posting this info themselves to make it look like someone has their info in their possession. All of this has gone to far and I hope it will stop sooner then later. To many lives are being tattered and torn.
I can tell you all exactly how it happened.. just as I told and provided proof to the officer that took the initial report.
– There was an impersonation blog opened on UCoz.com that bore my name. I filed an impersonation claim, in order to prove you are who you say you are, and to get blog taken down, you must provide a legal, government ID as proof.. an unaltered one at that. I did this and provided them my Ohio DL ( as that is my legal proof) This host inadvertently released the copy of the DL to the person who opened this site. I know this to be true as UCoz has apologized to me for this and the person they released it to posted the link to the DL as a “ha ha” to me.
Now before you say “sue Ucoz” they are in the UK and a lawsuit really would not solve the problem at this point.
Its all been reported, recorded and Ive registered as an identity theft victim… and its being investigated. Ive done as much as I can on my end .. now its in the hands of the authorities and investigators.
This at least puts the rest the rumor that it was an employee of the Ohio DMV that provided the information. Ucoz was irresponsible in releasing that information and should be taken to task for it even if suing them is impractical. I certainly hope that you can get some justice done in regards to this incident. Under no circumstances should that information ever have been made public.
ANYONE who publishes that information regardless of how they obtained it is still subject to the law. The DL simply should have not been made public.

Yes Ucoz initially released it to the person who opened the site.. BUT .. there was a person claiming to be an employee of the Ohio BMV , going by the screen name Ward Clever, who admitted to accessing my information via their work.. bragged about how easy it would be to find out anything about me “as an employee of the Ohio BMV” – I can not confirm if such person exists or if it was just comments designed to intimidate me.. but this person was credited (by the person who the DL was initially released to) as having found out information on me/us.
SO .. again, I cant confirm an Ohio BMV employee is really involved.. but is is like I said before its all being investigated and Im sure if such an employee does exist, they will be found out.
I was wrong in my thinking, thanks for clearing it up Holly. UCoz needs to learn from Facebook. If you have to provide proof of who you say you are to get your page back, you have to provide your DL’s BUT with your address & drivers license number covered up. All they wanted to see was your name & date of birth, which is how you sign up for facebook. Bad on UCoZ for releasing it & bad on whoever boasted about having it.

Totally agree with what Anonymously Free just said. . Holly, the things that have happened to you are wrong. The DL thing, your daughters info, etc etc..just wrong.
While I understand your frustration with it all, you might want to take a long hard look at your association with Radio, who basically is lower than the low. She has no apology whatsoever, for doing the same sort of thing, Yeah, she always has an excuse like, “oh, but it has nothing to do with that”..and “so and so brought it on themselves”…but in reality, we all know thats just bull. Radio can blame everyone else on earth for her actions, but its still her actions
Your association with that scum is doing you no favors. Not to mention those nasty commenters on that blog. Making fun of peoples disabled children, and calling people “tards” , all the while saying others are “uneducated” pretty much speaks for itself.

Just like she lied about being in contact with authorities in Canada before and they had to demand Holly cease mentioning them. If she would lie about that then she will lie about this. She’ll lie about anything. This is just her sick and twisted attempt at trying to get sympathy. She can pull the wool over the eyes of some but not all.
The things that Holly has put people through (ie: making fun of the mentally challenged, involving people’s families in her drama, etc.) is also wrong.
I have to agree with what Murt said. I thought someone else had pointed out that Holly’s DL was uploaded on Holly’s very own Photobucket account, but that’s neither here nor there – regardless, that doesn’t give anyone else the right to pass it along or give another website the right to make it public.
My own issues with Holly aside, I agree with what ItNeverEnds says. As of now I think Holly’s troubles are all with who she associates with. It’s doing her no favors, like they said, and taking part in baseless, low attacks and going after other people’s family members does her no favors either. You can’t really cry victim about something being done to you when you do the same to others.
That said, I don’t expect an adult-like response from anyone involved. Only insults, since that’s what they know best.
