Well, it is rerun time on Twitter. There are calls to find out the identity of someone on the internet. This time it is not a mysterious blogger from Atlanta, or a bigot from Arizona. This time it is a woman from Steubenville, Ohio.

Some people might want to climb into the wayback machine and go to where the merits of people staying anonymous were discussed. The prevailing rule of thumb was that it “was none of your business who so and so was.” Remember those arguments?

Now one of these same proponents of remaining anonymous is calling for the outing of an anonymous twitter account holder for the price of a $100 donation to a charity of the choice of whoever is the informant.

Hypocrite much?
