When I was sent a screen shot of a comment Holly Briley made about three hours ago in regards to a comment I made on a blog, I felt it was necessary to address why that comment was made.
When Detective Dominic Casey took possession of the files that were eventually turned over to the State of Florida, he was informed that the files alleged that I had a PRIVATE conversation with another party in a PRIVATE instant message session. Under Florida law, it is unlawful to release private conversations made between individualsĀ to ANYONE without WRITTEN consent of ALL parties involved, regardless of where anyone lives if ONE or more of the parties is a resident of the State of Florida.
Under the State of Florida’s security of information act, this means that ALL parties have an understanding that the information contained within will remain PRIVATE.
The point I was trying to make in the comment was that since Dominic Casey is a bonded and licensed Private Detective that is required to abide by the laws of the State of Florida, he should be investigated to see if there are any other laws he is willing to break or has broken.
Holly briley’s comment regarding my post clearly demonstrates her lack of understanding of the laws of a state where she used to reside. She also does not comprehend what the term context means.
